In a move to combat and curb the spread of Coronavirus pandemic in India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a 21-day nationwide lockdown on Tuesday, after a surge in numbers of critically ill patients. This lockdown means that people would have to remain in their homes for these 21 days, and only essential services shall remain open.
