While Joe Exotic's Tiger King documentary on Netflix received a lot of popularity, PETA doesn't seem to be a big fan of the host. Joe Exotic has been accused of killing wild animals and hence, he is not in the good books of PETA. So much that the organisation has come up with a limited-edition costume for Halloween themed Joe Exotic. The organisation has started accepting pre-orders for the same which will be dispatched by July 31. In the statement, PETA has also called him a Tiger Killer.
The statement published by PETA on the website reads, "It’s never too early to start planning for Halloween, so we’re accepting preorders for our limited-edition “Tiger King Killer” costume. Complete with a blond mullet wig, a mustache, jail bars, an orange jumpsuit, and a plush “pouncing tiger,” this “Joe Exotic” Halloween costume will remind everyone who the true villain of Tiger King is: notorious tiger abuser Joseph “Joe Exotic” Maldonado-Passage."
The costume that comes with an orange prison jumpsuit, a blonde wig, a mustache, jail bars and a stuffed tiger is available for pre-order for $159.99. As soon as Joe's documentary hit the OTT platform, many took part in Joe Exotic Challenge on social media and dressed up as him to share pictures and videos. Well, PETA has served you another opportunity to be Joe Exotic, just behind the bars.
Earlier this year, Joe Exotic was awarded 22-year of imprisonment for plotting Carole Baskin's murder and killing five tigers, selling tiger cubs, and falsifying wildlife records, as reported by Mirror Online.
