Today we saw the biggest and most coveted awards of the year, Oscars Awards 2020 compelling the audience to get glued to their TV sets. With many keeping their fingers crossed and hopes high, one of the OTT platforms, Netflix had bagged 24 nominations this year but ended winning only two awards. Taking home the prestigious trophy was actress Laura Dern in the category of Best Supporting Actress for her role of Nora in the drama-comedy titled Marriage Story.
Laura played a divorce lawyer to actress Scarlett Johansson’s character, Nicole Barber. The said movie had bagged six other nominations in different categories. Such as in the Best Picture category, Adam drives in Best Actor category, Scarlett Johansson in Best Actress category, Best original screenplay and Randy Newman for best original score. Yet another award which was picked by a project on this OTT platform was American Factory. Makers of this documentary took home the trophy for Best Documentary Feature. ALSO READ:
