It was recently reported that Japanese wrestler and Netflix star Hana Kimura passed away at the age of 22. The news of Kimura’s death was confirmed by her organisation Stardom Wrestling and asked fans to be respectful about it. Although the cause of death of the Netflix star was not clear soon after her sad demise, several media reports state that it is apparent that Hana Kimura committed suicide as she issued a series of shocking posts that hinted she had been cyber-bullied. As Kimura starred in the show Terrace House Tokyo, after her demise, the upcoming season of show gets cancelled.
In a statement released via the show Terrace House Tokyo’s website, the Japanese broadcaster Fuji TV announced that following the death of wrestler and star Hana Kimura, the show is cancelled, reports Deadline. The statement released reads, “We would like to express our sincere condolences for the death of Hana Kimura, who appeared on the program. We also deeply mourn the bereaved families.” In the statement, the Japanese broadcaster mourned Hana Kimura’s death and expressed their condolences to the family.
The continued statement read, “Regarding ‘TERRACE HOUSE TOKYO: 2019-2020,’ we have decided to stop recording, broadcasting, and distribution on FOD in the future. We take this issue very seriously and would like to continue to earnestly respond to it.” In the statement, the Japanese broadcaster mentioned that they will be cancelling the upcoming season of the show TERRACE HOUSE TOKYO: 2019-2020. In the statement, it was also mentioned that they understand the situation and take it seriously.
