The gangster drama is by far the most awaited series of 2020. Mirzapur season 2, releasing on October 23 will be getting a solo release and that too, a festive release. With the OTT platforms taking their audience's feet off the ground with every release, Amazon Prime Video gives Mirzapur the special attention it deserves.
The fans have been waiting for season two of Mirzapur, after the success of the first season. Taking the excitement level higher, Amazon Prime today released a new teaser from the second season. Captioning the teaser, Amazon Prime wrote, “When the city is yours to rule, you can change the rules.
#Mirzapur2.” The promo opens with Kaleen Bhaiya saying, “Hum phele bhi tumhare mallik the, aur aaj bhi hain. Gaddi pe chahiye hum baithe yaa Munna, niyam same honge.” “Aur hum ek aur niyam add kar rahe hain. Gaddi pe baithne wala kabhi bhi niyam badal sakta hai.”
The show featured Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Vikrant Massey, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Shweta Tripathi, Rasika Duggal and Kulbhushan Kharbandha in the lead. While Tripathi stole the show essaying the role of Kaleen Bhaiyya, the King Of Mirzapur, Ali Fazal & Vikrant Massey packed a punch as Guddu and Bablu Pandit – the wannabe gangsters.
Shriya played the love interest of Ali and Shweta, as Golu, was seen as a studious girl entering into college politics. Rasika Duggal played the role of Beena – Kaleen Bhaiyya’s wife and Kulbhushan Kharbanda played Kaleen Bhaiyya’s father, a don of his era. Joining them in Season 2 are Vijay Varma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Isha Talwar, Amit Sial, Anjum Sharma.
