As the entire nation is observing nation-wide-lockdown, Imtiaz Ali directorial Love Aaj Kal is now streaming on Netflix. A few days back, Kartik Aaryan had taken to social media and shared a never-seen-before BTS picture of the film. In the caption, the actor has announced film Television world premiere on April 26, 2020.
Ever since Imtiaz Ali had started shooting for Love Aaj Kal with Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan, their chemistry got everyone talking. The couple made headlines with their love affair and their often dinner and movie dates. Soon after the shoot got over, the reports of their breakup were quick to make headlines. Before the release of the film, ex-couple Kartik and Sara came together for the promotions of the film and now they continue to share a cordial relationship.
Love Aaj Kal, which was a sequel to daddy Saif Ali Khan’s 2009 release with the same name, boomed at the box-office. The film got a decent box-office opening of Rs 12.40 crore, but it subsequently witnessed a massive decline in its earnings at the BO.

Daddy Saif had once reacted to his daughter’s film’s failure and said, “I did message her and ask if she’s alright. Of course, it’s a romantic and nice fatherly notion (to hold your daughter’s hand through hardships), but I don’t think it’s really needed. I think she’s quite tough and smart and she gets it.
