Film buffs are in for a treat very soon with Jio Cinema celebrating Malayalam cinema with the upcoming movie marathon Malayalam Mojo, starting June 18. Jio Studios presents an eclectic mix of six exciting Malayalam titles, available with English subtitles for streaming on Jio Cinema. Varying in themes, treatment, and characterization - critically acclaimed films to major box office successes from one of the most prolific film industries in the country, these include two straight to digital releases as well as previously released films having their digital premieres.

Directed by Roshan Andrews Kayamkulam Kochunni is a period drama starring Mohanlal, Nivin Pauly, and Priya Anand. Dreaded by the rich and corrupt and revered by the poor and downtrodden, Kayamkulam Kochunni was a Robin Hood of sorts. Chronicles the life and times of the legendary 19th-century highwayman, and how he rose from his humble beginnings.

Master Alok starrer Clint is based on the real-life story of Edmund Thomas Clint, the child prodigy, who left the world at the age of seven, leaving behind around 25,000 drawings and paintings. With music by The Maestro Ilaiyaraaja, Clint was the Official Selection at numerous festivals including PIFF, BIFF, ICFFI, KIFF & DIFF.
