Post the lockdown, the work in the film industry has picked up with full enthusiasm. With producers announcing the release dates of their upcoming projects one after the another, filmmaker Karan Johar has joined the bandwagon as he has announced five new projects. Taking to his social media accounts, Karan Johar revealed that five new projects are in the pipeline in association with OTT Platform - Netflix.

Taking to his Instagram, Karan Johar revealed that the Digital Content Wing of his company, Dharmatic, will release five new films on Netflix this year. The films include Finding Anamika, Ajeeb Daastaans, Meenakshi Sundareshwar, Searching For Sheela and the second instalment of Fabulous Lives Of Bollywoodwives. While sharing the news, Karan Johar wrote, "It's a big day for #TeamDharmatic! We're super excited to announce 5 new projects under the @dharmaticent banner, coming soon on @netflix_in! #FindingAnamika #AjeebDaastaans #MeenakshiSundareshwar #SearchingForSheela #FabulousLivesOfBollywoodWives."

The filmmaker also attached a video with the announcement giving us a glimpse of his projects. Take a look.


The projects included in the list have stars such as Madhuri Dixit Nene, Sanjay Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Abhimanyu Dasani, Manav Kaul and others. The Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives starring Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, Neelam Kothari, and Seema Khan will be coming back with its second season. The first season was a great hit among the masses.

Apart from this, Karan Johar has also announced the release of his film titled Shershah starring Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani. It will make it to the theatres on July 2.
