Anushka Sharma’s second production venture after Paatal Lok, her digital film Bulbbul hit Netflix yesterday. The actress is not in front of the camera, she is acing her game as a producer like a PRO! We at SpotboyE.com got in touch with the cast- Tripti Dimri and Avinash Tiwary and writer-lyricist turned director Anvita Dutt regarding the film and what made it special. The trio was seen spilling the beans about the film right from the director discussing about the script, to the actors’ talking about their preparation - all in an exclusive chat with SpotboyE's Manish Batavia.
Anvita who turned director with Bulbbul spoke about filmmaker Anurag Kashyap being the one who encouraged her to take the director’s seat. During an exclusive conversation with Manish Batavia, when asked Anvita about Anurag pushing her to be a director for past 8-9 years and did Anurag watch the film? To which she replied, “Years ago when he had read the script he had said you should direct and of course you should direct this film.” Adding further she says, “I hope sees the film when it drops on Netflix.”
Now going by Anurag Kashyap’s Twitter, we got to know he has watched the film. The filmmaker in his Tweet just wrote, “Bulbbul,” followed by a red heart emoji. We hope Anvita knows about it and continues to direct such wonderful projects in her career.
