Aparshakti Khurana’s first Hindi film as a leading hero, Helmet, opposite Pranutan Bahl, promises to be one-of-a-kind comedy and the first Hindi film to be made on the subject of purchasing condoms. Yesterday, the team of the film took to their social media to announce that they are coming with a big surprise soon for the audience. “Kripaya apne helmet pehen lijiye kyuki hum jald hi aa rahe hai to take you on a ride. All safety precautions will be taken,” Aparshakti had said on his Instagram and now SpotboyE.com has learnt some details about it.
A source close to the development informs that after waiting for over a year, the makers have finally agreed on taking the digital route for the film. “Helmet is coming on Zee 5 this September, with the exact date yet to be announced,” the source shares.
The makers are also planning to release the trailer of the film next week on August 18. “But even before that, the makers have a huge surprise in store for the audience. They will release an innovative teaser of the film, a few days before the trailer release, so as to create more intrigue amongst the audience and explain the concept of the film,” the source reveals.
In an earlier conversation with SpotboyE.com, Pranutan had shared that the film aims to normalise conversation in households around the subject of purchasing condoms. “It does have a social message in a very non-preachy way that will make you feel pleasantly surprised. What the film aims to say is that when there are subjects related to some uncomfortable topics, let’s laugh it out and discuss as there’s no shame about it,” she had said.
