Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl's Dori Tutt Gaiyaan Song: Janhvi Kapoor Says ‘Never Give Up On Your Dreams’

As Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is nearing release date, the makers are dropping songs from the album. Here's a new song, Dori Tutt Gaiyaan, where Janhvi Kapoor's emotional side comes to fore.

Those who chase their goals even in the hardest of times and get to live their dreams in the end, this new track from Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is the one for you. As the film is nearing its release date, the makers are sharing some new songs from the album. Speaking of which, here's a new song, titled, Dori Tutt Gaiyaan where it shows Janhvi Kapoor's emotional side. The soulful track will hit all the right notes and teach you to fight hard in every situation. In the video, we see Janhvi AKA Gunjan being asked to leave the Air Force Academy, citing that there's no space for the weak ones. 

As she leaves the academy, she reminisced about the day when she joined the academy for the first time. However, her father, played by Pankaj Tripathi stood next to her rock solid. Janhvi Kapoor showcases how one should 'never give up on your dreams.' The soulful track is composed by Amit Trivedi and the lyrics are penned by Kausar Munir while Rekha Bhardwaj lends her powerful voice to the song. Watch the song below:
 
Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is a biopic. The actress announced the film by writing, “Proud to bring to you the story of India’s first woman Air Force Officer to go to war. A journey that I hope will inspire you the way that it has inspired me. Gunjan Saxena - The Kargil Girl is landing on 12th August to your #Netflix screens!”

As the actress is excited to release the film, the film is receiving some severe backlash from netizens and Janhvi feels that she is confident about the film and sees no reason why they have to be apologetic about it. While speaking to Hindustan Times, she was quoted saying, “The sentiment has been fuelled and amplified in the last month. I hope it’s not something that I have to deal with every release. I know I’m confident of what I’ve done, and I’m confident of the film and the story… I don’t think there’s any reason for us to be apologetic for what we’ve done.”
