Netflix is pulling out all the stops in making our lockdown phase bearable, it seems. In the initial days of lockdown, the OTT platform released the fourth season of Money Heist, Tiger King, 365 Days and more. However, recently, the platform yet again announced a menu of 17 dishes, we mean films and series, that will be soon releasing in the coming days. From Gunjan Saxena, A suitable boy, Ludo to Torbaaz and Raat Akeli Hai, Netflix has some super exciting line-ups and we are here to share all the info!

1. Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl: Janhvi Kapoor starrer Gunjan Saxena will release on August 12. The actress announced it by writing, “Proud to bring to you the story of India’s first woman Air Force Officer to go to war. A journey that I hope will inspire you the way that it has inspired me. Gunjan Saxena - The Kargil Girl is landing on 12th August to your #Netflix screens!”


2. Torbaaz: The film stars Sanjay Dutt and Nargis Fakhri. Sharing the arrival of the film, he backed the first look with a caption, "A man rises from personal tragedy to lead a group of children from a refugee camp to victory, transforming their lives through the game of cricket. 3. Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare: Watch Dolly and kitty fight their silent battles while they navigate womanhood, sisterhood, love, and everything in between in this charming story about finding freedom. Get ready to see Bhumi Pednekar and Konkana Sensharma rocking your world.


4. Raat Akeli Hai: Nawazuddin Siddiqui who plays an inspector goes on a mission to unfold the truth which is covered in darkness. However, “The truth can either save you or kill you.” Raat Akeli Hai, also starring Radhika Apte, premieres July 31, on Netflix.  


5. Ludo: Anurag Basu's Ludo stars Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra. Sharing about Ludo soon releasing on Netflix, Rajkummar Rao wrote, “Watch four players take fate into their own hands in a high stakes game where nothing is a coincidence and everything is planned.”


6. Class of '83: Bobby Deol essays the role of a police officer, Dean Vijay Singh who fights against corruption and crime. 


7. Ginny weds Sunny: "A match-maker by profession, this mother is determined to write a fairy tale love story for her daughter who clearly has other plans. Will it really be Sunny in paradise for Ginny?," Yami Gautam's says in her Insta caption, also stars Vikrant Massey. 


8. A Suitable Boy: Mira Nair's series is an official adaptation of Vikram Seth’s ‘A Suitable Boy’. While sharing the first look on Instagram, Ishaan Khatter wrote, “Love doesn’t recognise borders, love simply is.. Bringing you the story of Maan, Saeeda and a lot more #asuitableboy coming on #Netflix soon.”


9. Mismatched: What happens when Dimple and Rishi fall in love (and in trouble!) before they find their happily ever after? The series stars The Sky Is Pink fame Rohit Saraf and YouTube sensation Mostly Sane aka Prajakta Kohli. The lady is super excited to be in a Netflix show as she wrote on Insta, "WE’RE IN A NETFLIX SHOW! @rohitsaraf10 and me, it's the best set-up, the perfect match! Or... is it?"

11. Serious Men: Another movie of Nawazuddin will be releasing on this platform. He shared the still of the film and captioned it as, "Finding fame was easy. But staying famous? That's where things get tricky. Watch a slum dweller's rags to riches story while he lays what's most important on the line."


12. Tribhanga: This film stars Kajol, Mithila Palkar, Renuka Shahane and Tanve Azmi. It is a story about three women who dance to their own beat, Tribhanga shows you the perfection in imperfection. Mithila shared the still of her Instagram where she expressed her excitement.


13. Kaali Khuhi: This film stars Sanjeeda Shaikh and Shabana Azmi. According to Shaikh's Instagram account, she wrote that this is about a village in Punjab with a brutal history. "Will 10 year old Shivangi be able to save this village from it's gory past? Or will history repeat itself? Coming soon on @netflix_in," further read.


14. Bombay Rose: As per Netflix's caption, this film is said to be an animated film which will be in Bollywood style.


15. Bhaag Beanie Bhaag: "Breathe Beanie Breathe There's method Beanie's maddness!" That's what Swara Bhasker's Instagram caption reads about this series. Gear up for this madness.


16. Bombay Begums: The series starring Pooja Bhatt is about five different women, one unbreakable bond. These begums deal with desire, ethics, personal crises and vulnerabilities to own their ambition. 


17. Masaba Masaba: The series is about Masaba's life, fashion, romance, heartbreak and struggles. It also features Neena Gupta.
