After
a breathtaking 3rd episode, Game Of Thrones Season 8 is headed
towards its end. With only 3 more episodes to go, fans are feeling the
excitement by the minute. Meanwhile, HBO’s fantasy series is busy creating
records. The premiere episode registered a record-breaking viewership of 17.4
million views and now the last episode, The Long Night has beaten its own
record, as it registered 17.8 million views, making Episode 3 the most-watched
telecast of the year. Meanwhile, the global coverage for Season 8 premiere is
now up to an astounding 38 million views.
Episode
3 was all about the battle between the dead and living. It was the longest
battle sequence in cinematic history and took 55 days to shoot. The result as
we all saw was beyond words. Although there were certain complaints about the
episode being too dark in terms of its lighting, the battle sequence’s
cinematographer, Fabian Wagner said that it was the compression of the episode
by HBO which made it look like that. He said there was no error in the lighting
while it was shot.
Talking
about the episode, we had brought to you the review of the unbelievable battle
of Winterfell, which came to an end with Night King’s end, courtesy Arya Stark,
who turned out to be the real Azor Ahai- princess who was promised. After a
heart-thumping battle, now episode 4 seems to be a breather before Danny, Jon
Snow and their allies head to South and take down Cersie, or vice versa.
