While the casting process is currently underway, it is believed that South Indian actress Hebah Patel has been already locked to play the central protagonist.

Ekta Kapoor definitely believes in rebooting her popular classics. A case in point is a remake of her all-time-favourite unrequited love saga, Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan starrer is being loved by the audience and garnering good TRPs.  Now, as per reports, the TV czarina is planning to bring back the love story of Kashish and Sujal to the aundiences, yet again, this time on the web. Yes we are talking about Aamna Shariff and Rajeev Khandelwal starrer Kahiin To Hoga.

According to Bollywood life.com, this time it will be a 40 episode web series for her own OTT Platform ALT Balaji and it is tentatively titled Kahiin Toh Hoga United. Also, Just like the original TV series, which revolved around two primary characters (Kashish and Sujal) and their ego tussle amidst their love story, the plot of the digital series will be quite similar to the original one. However, the characters will be different.

But this time the show revolves around two Muslim families who will be business partners. Their heirs Sufiyaan and Imtiyaaz would be great comrades. However, with a girl named Kaynaat's involvement, their lives will witness a major hoo-ha. "The plot primarily revolves around the love triangle between Imtiyaaz, Sufiyaan and Kaynaat."

While the casting process is currently underway, a source disclosed to them that South Indian actress Hebah Patel has been already locked to play the central protagonist Kaynaat. However hunt for ther two male leads is still in process.
