The trailer of Netflix original, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie doesn’t call it a Netflix original. Instead, it is called ‘A Netflix Event’. This couldn’t be any truer as fans around the world have been waiting for this for several years now. Breaking Bad, arguably one of the finest television shows ever has been the subject of many rumours stating a comeback. Finally, it’s happening, albeit in the form of a film.

The film is said to take off where Breaking Bad left off. Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) seems to have fled the place he was being held. He was heavily tortured and is in a bad state when we first see him. He looks much older than the fun, youthful Jesse we had met in the earlier seasons. With flagellation marks all over his body, Jesse also has a pain in his eyes.

Soon after, we also meet Badger and Skinny Pete, who are also characters from the show. Jesse is on the run and his face is being shown on news channels. He is hiding from cops, gun in hand.

Just a few days later, Netflix dropped another promo where we see another old character, Old Joe, the junkyard owner who is watching the news with Jesse’s announcement when he receives a mysterious phone call. Could it be Jesse himself calling? Given that Joe had helped Walt and Jesse before as they were hiding from the cops, does Jesse want shelter from him?

Director Vince Gillighan has been the mastermind behind the show and the film as well and we can’t wait to see what he has in store for us this time! Could we expect a cameo from Bryan Cranston, Walter White himself for old times’ sake? Only time will tell!
