Aashiqui fame Pooja Bhatt is gearing up for the release of her Netflix show Bombay Begums. The story of the web series is based on five ambitious women from different walks of life who navigate dreams, desires and disappointments in Mumbai of today. With only a few days left for the release of the series, in an interview with SpotboyE.com, Bombay Begums star Pooja Bhatt opened up about being away from the screen. The actress expressed how she couldn’t have asked for a better comeback.
Speaking with Manish Batavia, when asked how she felt being away from the big screen, Pooja Bhatt shared how she kept herself busy with the process of filmmaking. She said, “Being involved with the process of filmmaking helped.” She added, “But I think it was important for myself to have kind of learnt other aspects of filmmaking. It gave me a great sense of respect for the process in the manner that merely only being an actor would have never give me.” The actress further spoke about her comeback and said, “I think, I couldn't have asked for a better comeback.” She added," If it is one. I think people love that term comeback." She also thanked Alankrita Srivastava for the opportunity. Bhatt said, “Thank you for giving me a fourth colourful season of my life. And, A privilege to be a part of this show, story, work with these amazing women.”
