YouTuber Armaan Malik and two wives Payal Malik, Kritika Malik left the netizens in shock when they opened up about their dynamics and polygamous marriage during the premiere night of Bigg Boss OTT season 3. In the days to follow, after their participation, netizens and celebrities reacted to their relationship, raising objections. Now, Bigg Boss season 17’s contestant, lawyer Sana Raees Khan, who has worked with many celebrities from the Hindi entertainment industry, has stated that Malik’ second marriage is not legal.

Sharing her opinion on the polygamous relationship of the trio, Khan stated that according to the Hindu Marriage Act (1995) in India, a Hindu man is legally allowed to have only one wife at a time. She added that polygamy isn’t permitted for Hindus and that his second marriage to Kritika will not be recognized under the Indian law as it is illegal. She went on to explained that portraying a Hindu husband having two wives on a big reality show like Bigg Boss OTT season 3, can created confusion about the legality of polygamy under the Hindu law. And could potentially normalize or glamorize relationships that are not legally or socially accepted in the context of modern Hindu society.” ALSO READ: Bigg Boss OTT 3: Lovekesh Kataria’s Girlfriend Ashna Chand REACTS As Videos Of Him Being Unable To Sleep Due To Handcuffs Goes Viral

For those who don’t know, Armaan’s real name is Sandip Jangda. It was speculated earlier that he belonged to the Muslim community, however, Payal dismissed the claims and revealed that he belonged to the Jatt community.
