The Financial Express reported, Mohta said that content will play a major role and the platform is not looking at advertising to garner revenues. “SVOD (subscription video-on-demand) is the only way to make money. We will be premiering Dwitiyo Purush next month on Hoichoi first,” he added.

The company aims to take to online video viewing by Financial Year 2023. According to CII-BCG report, India’s SVOD market is estimated to reach $1.5 billion by 2023.
