NENT Studios UK have collaborated with Indian streamer ZEE5 and producer Big Synergy Media Ltd for the Indian adaptation of popular series Black Widows. And now buzz is that Aamir Ali has been roped in for the project.
A source informs us, "Aamir has been shooting for Naxalbari and now has been roped in for The Black Widow. The shooting for The Black Widow has already started and this is going to be one exciting show with a fabulous cast. The series is being shot in Kolkata with all safety precautions keeping the current pandemic in mind." We reached out to Aamir for the confirmation of the same but he remained unavailable. Based on the Finnish drama of the same name, the Black Widows deal includes the rights for the two 12-episode seasons. The Indian version will be the eighth international remake.

The show has been described as a darkly comic story of three best friends who try to kill their husbands.
