Former Indian tennis player Sania Mirza appeared on Kapil Sharma’s comedy chat show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, currently streaming on Netflix along with Mary Kom and Saina Nehwal. Having been in the limelight for her divorce from Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik and him announcing his third wedding with Pakistani actress Sana Javed, shortly after their separation, she recently performed an act along with Kapil on the show. During the short skit, he essayed the role of a mother-in-law, who constantly taunts the daughter-in-law, played by Sania. Well, a video of the same has surfaced on the internet, leaving the netizens in splits.
In the video shared by an Instagram user, Sania is heard saying, “Yeh kin jhailo mein mai ne shaadi kar li.” This comment from the athlete makes everyone burst out in laughter. The comedian, who is donning a yellow dupatta, goes on to ask her where the tea is. Mirz brings a mug and offers it to him. Continuing the banter between a daughter-in-law and a mother-in-law, Kapil asks if it is tea or poison, Sania smartly quips, “Mai ne toh chai hi banayi thi. Apke mooh ko lag kar zehar ho gayi hogi.” Their stint has left the netizens impressed. Many immediately took to the comment section of the post to express how she is talking from experience. Some even mocked Shoaib Malik. For the unversed, before tying the knot with Sania, Malik was married to Ayesha Siddiqui. He divorced her in 2010, before marrying the tennis player later that year. They welcomed their son Izhaan Mirza Malik, eight years later. Over the past year, it was heavily rumoured that the cricketer cheated on his wife with model Ayesha Omar. His marriage to Sana Javed, who divorced Umar Jaswal, her husband of three years, definitely came as a surprise for many. The newly married couple has been incessantly trolled after their announced their wedding.
