Wonder Woman this time around would be fighting an evil force known as Cheetah. It is played by Kristen Wiig, an archaeologist named Barbara Minerva who has managed to channel an ancient goddess through rituals. The trailer begins with Gal and Barbara having a meeting as friends where the former says, "Nothing good is born from lies, and greatness is not what you think" in a voice-over. They talk about love and one can see the dark clouds coming. In the trailer, Chris Pine makes a comeback as Steve Trevor.
