Gal Gadot starrer Wonder Woman 1984 is one of the most anticipated films of the decade. Marvel fans have been eagerly waiting for the movie to release. It was recently announced that the film is scheduled to release Pan India, in theatres, on December 24. The latest reports also stated that Gal Gadot’s most anticipated film Wonder Woman 1984 will be streaming on HBO Max as well, when it releases in theatres. Now, reportedly, Gal Gadot and director Patty Jenkins have received a hefty amount to support the HBO Max plan.

According to a report by the New York Times, Warner Bros. Picture has quietly reached to William Morris Endeavor and Creative Artists, talent agencies for Gal Gadot and filmmaker Patty Jenkins. The report stated that the production company tried to set up a deal as they a schedule Wonder Woman 1984 to release during the Christmas 2020 week and cinemas at the same time. As per the report, the production company wanted Gadot and Jenkins to support their HBO Max release plan.

The report stated that Gadot, Jenkins, and the producer Charles Roven’s agents argued that they needed to be paid what they might have got if the film was released in a traditional manner. As per the report, a source with knowledge of these deals revealed that Warner Bros agreed that Gal Galdot and Patty Jenkins would get more than 10 million dollars each, after intense negotiation.

Meanwhile, it was recently that Warner Bros released their plan to debut their entire 2021 slate on HBO Max. Reportedly, representatives for famous Warner Bros stars like Angelina Jolie, Denzel Washington, Hugh Jackman, Keanu Reeves, Margot Robbie, and Will Smith wanted to know the reason behind why their clients were treated in a lesser manner than Gal Gadot. On the other hand, Tenet director Christopher Nolan has criticised the decision of the company and also slammed them. Speaking of the films releasing on the streaming platform, it includes movies like The Matrix 4, Godzilla vs. Kong, Mortal Kombat, The Suicide Squad, and others.
