Shortly after the claims surfaced and made headlines, Jada told TMZ, “We suin’!”
She also insisted that legal action was the only answer. "We're gonna take legal action because it's one thing to have your opinion about somebody versus salacious and malicious stories. So, that's actionable and we're gonna roll with that. It's not true and we're gonna take care of it and that's the end of that. We are taking legal action, for sure!"
While it’s still unclear if Jada has already consulted her lawyers, a source told TMZ that Will is “actually weighing his legal options, so there could be some truth to Jada’s response.” A rep also said, “This story is completely fabricated and the claim is unequivocally false.”
Jada began her interview on The Breakfast Club with noting that “It’s nonsense,” she continued, "This is a person (Will's former friend and assistant Brother Bilaal) that tried a money shake down that didn't work."
The actress also spoke about Will's reaction and said, "Here's one good thing about Will. He's always going to find it funny. You have to because it's absolutely ridiculous. You've just got to laugh about it, you know? He was like 'do you believe this shit?' and we just laughed about it."
Earlier this week, RadarOnline.com reported that Smith's representative had denied all the accusations, saying that "the story is completely fabricated, and the claim is unequivocally false".
Previously, Bilaal had appeared on the Unwine With Tasha K podcast and claimed that he “opened the door to Duane’s dressing room” and saw “Duane having anal sex with Will” over a couch. Duane was married to actress Tisha Campbell from 1996 to 2020.
On one occasion, Today host Hoda Kotb asked her if they are in open marriage or are swingers. She also asked her if one of them is gay. “I would say that none of that’s true,” Jada replied.
