Donkey Kong is one of the most famous and lovable game franchises of all time and fans will accept that a film based on the gaming franchise is long overdue. Donkey Kong has never been in a live-action film, apart from that one role in the 2015 dud Pixels. Now looks like someone over at Disney is giving out signals about their interest in the film. A puzzle over at their website asked users to guess the names of the films using the letters from various alphabet. Have a look:

If that doesn’t spell Donkey Kong, we don’t know what does. Disney is currently busy with the production of the live-action version of Beauty and the Beast, but we’re pretty sure that Disney always has a clump of films in production or at least in their kitty throughout the year.

Disney had a decent year at the box-office this year. They opened the year nice with films like The Finest Hours, Zootopia and the Jungle Book but faltered with Alice Through The Looking Glass, The BFG and Pete’s Dragon. Their latest release this year was Queen of Katwe and they have Moana and Dangal as their upcoming films. Let’s hope the House of Mouse gives Donkey Kong fans a live-action film soon.
