Global icon and actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas and American Soccer player Megan Rapinoe are not ‘Angels’, but among the newest faces of Victoria’s Secret, according to a report. The international brand Victoria’s Secret has officially dropped its ‘Angels’ for two new initiatives ‘The VS Collective’ and ‘The Victoria's Secret Global Fund for Women's Cancers’. The lingerie brand unveiled a new list of stars who will hereon represent Victoria’s Secret’s marketing model. The new roster of celebrities was shared by the brand on Wednesday, June 16.

According to a report in E! News, as per The New York Times, the ‘Angels’ are no more. Talking about The VS Collective, as per the company’s press release published in the report, it is described as "an ever-growing group of accomplished women who share a common passion to drive positive change. Through social, cultural and business relationships, The VS Collective will work to create new associate programs, revolutionary product collections, compelling and inspiring content, and rally support for causes vital to women." The inaugural members of the VC Collective are models, activists, athletes and artists from around the world.

Apart from Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Soccer player Megan Rapinoe, South Sudanese-Australian model Adut Akech; Los Angeles-based photographer Amanda de Cadenet; Chinese skier Eileen Gu; British model and body activist Paloma Elsesser; and Brazilian model Valentina Sampaio are among the other celebrities on the list. As per the report, Victoria’s Secret CEO, Martin Waters said in a statement, “At Victoria's Secret, we are on an incredible journey to become the world's leading advocate for women.” He said the new program was "a dramatic shift" for the brand and added, "It's a shift that we embrace from our core. These new initiatives are just the beginning. We are energized and humbled by the work ahead of us."
