Taylor Swift recently shocked all as she put up a long post on Twitter expressing concern over her gig in the upcoming AMA’s. She revealed that she has been banned from performing on her old hit songs and that has left her disappointed. Due to the ongoing feud with “tyrannical” music managers Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta, Taylor Swift cannot perform to her songs because they hold rights to her album

In the lengthy letter which she posted on Twitter, Taylor Swift wrote, “Guys - It's been announced recently that the American Music Awards will be honoring me with the Artist of the Decade Award at this year's ceremony. I've been planning to perform a medley of my hits throughout the decade on the show. Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun have now said that I'm not allowed to perform my old songs on television because they claim that would be re-recording my music before I'm allowed to next year.”

She expressed that she does not know what to do about this and even urged fans to help her out in this situation. Soon a lot of people came out in support of her with #IStandWithTaylor trending on social media.

Not just songs, Taylor’s film for Netflix is also in trouble because of this tiff. She wrote, “Right now, my performance at the AMA’s, the Netflix documentary and any other recorded events I am planning to play until November 2020 are a question mark. I’ve tried to work this out privately through my team but have not been able to resolve anything.”
