Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson’s The Batman hardly managed to make an impression amongst the fans and while the movie was grounded and gritty, it still possessed a slight touch of comic book whimsy. However, this Batman was away from any reference to other DC heroes like Superman or Wonder Woman.

But, the latest report suggests that Batman's timeline has now confirmed the presence of Superman with the mention of his city. While this update may not be from any sequel or bits from any movie sets, instead it is from a tie-up comic of the film’s universe written by Paul Dano, who plays The Riddler in the Matt Reeves directorial.
The comic in question sees a lady standing at the train station in Gotham with a ticket in hand which details her journey from Gotham to Metropolis. Well, you must be already aware that Metropolis is where Clark Kent resides and that means Superman exists in the Robert Pattinson timeline of the Batman. However, we can’t assure you if The Batman 2 will feature Superman, but the fact is that he does exist in a tie-up comic and this gives hopes that Matt Reeves’ vision will include some other DC characters joining Robert Pattinson who is yet to even mention anyone else.
