COVID-19 pandemic has literally made everyone alter their plans for next few years, in the terms of the entertainment business, while few filmmakers skipped the theatrical release and opted for OTT premieres, films which were in the filming stage are delayed, thus also leading to delay in their eventual release which was scheduled for 2021-2022. One of the movies which is delayed is Sony Pictures’s sequel to Spider-Man: Far From Home, as per reports in IGN.com, the makers have selected a new release date in the year 2021.
Earlier scheduled to release on November 5, 2021, now this sequel which is currently untitled will be releasing on December 17, 2021.
