Spider-Man, the Marvel fictional superhero character has a massive fan base of Spidey lovers across the globe, ever since it first appeared in an anthology comic book. The fictional superhero character of Spider-Man was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and writer-artist Steve Ditko and till now, many films, games and lots more have been created. It was recently that the trailer of the new Spider-Man remastered game was released. After the trailer release of the game, developer Bryan Intihar was the target of several online threats. He then went on to react to online threats.

Taking to his social media now, the Spider-Man developer- creative director of the remastered version addressed the online threats he received and reacted to the same. On Twitter, Bryan Intihar made a tweet to all the Spidey fans out there and shared how he is not in favour of the online threat messages he received, after the trailer release of the new game. He mentioned how he appreciates the passion of the fans but is not okay with them sending him threatening notes.

The Spider-Man developer tweeted, “To our Spidey fans: I totally appreciate your passion, but sending me threatening notes that you will “HUNT YOU DOWN AND WE WILL FIND YOU! YOU FIX THIS NOW!” isn’t cool. With what’s happening in today’s world, let’s be a force for good and be respectful of each other. Thank you.”  Bryan said that sending threatening notes like ‘Hunt you down and we will find out’; ‘you fix this now’ is not cool. He then urged fans to start practising trying to be a force for the good and be respectful of each other, with what’s happening in today’s world. Intihar concluded by thanking everyone.


Meanwhile, after Bryan’s message to the Spidey fans, many reacted to his tweet. Fans extended their support to him and apologized that he has to deal with such hate. Many also asked him to keep his head up, while many expressed their excitement for the release of the games. For the unversed, the Spider-Man developer fell prey to online threats after the teaser of the new game dropped. Many fans criticised the game and some expressed how they want the old protagonist back.
