Actor Danny Hicks has entertained fans over the years with his stellar performances. The actor marked his Hollywood debut with 1987 film Evil Dead 2 and played the role of Jake. Danny Hicks who is popularly known for his role in the horror film Evil Dead 2 took to his social media account to share a bad news with fans. The actor who has starred in films like Spider-Man 2, Oz the Great and Powerful, and The Blood Hunter revealed that he is diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer and has only 1 to 3 years to live.

Taking to his Facebook account, Danny Hicks shared a picture of him offering a smirk and shared a piece of bad news with fans. Hicks wrote, “To all of the people that I never got to meet, and the 6,018 die hard fans that enjoyed my work. I have some bad news. I have been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.” As the actor mentioned that the post is dedicated to all the people who he never had a chance to meet with and his die hard fans that enjoyed his work. Sharing the bad news, Danny revealed he has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.

The Evil Dead 2 actor’s post further read, “I have approximately 1 to 3 years to live." Danny mentioned that he has approximately 1 to 3 years to live. While Hicks revealed the sad news with fans, he also said that looking back at the life he’s lived for the 68 years, he can’t complain.  The Spider-Man 2 actor said, "But I gotta tell ya, I sure as hell packed a whole bunch of living into my 68 years. I got no change coming back that's for sure. And not too many regrets." Hicks who played Jake in Evil Dead 2 also made a reference to the 1987 film and wrote, “Ok, gotta go. I'm gunna find out just what in the hell is going on down in that fruit cellar. Take a stroll on over to FullEmpirePromotions and see what my friend Dominic has in the store."


Meanwhile, as Danny Hicks shared the sad news of his diagnosis with all his fans out there, after the announcement, an online fundraiser was created to raise money for the actor’s medical costs with a particular goal amount of 8000 dollars.
