In the meantime, with the COVID-19 pandemic taking many lives across the world and affecting many, PINK speaks about her emotional experience after recovery from the Coronavirus. In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, PINK talks about her experience from testing positive of COVID-19, recovery, the efforts she made and help she provided to the hospitals and needy.
On Instagram, Ellen DeGeneres shared a video of her interview with Just Give Me A Reason singer PINK. Speaking with Ellen, PINK revealed how she realized she has contracted the virus. The singer shared that it was her 3-year old son who had a fever since March 18, and as his fever was staying and going up, she suddenly couldn’t breathe when she woke up in the middle of the night. PINK mentioned how scared she was as she couldn’t even function with a rescue inhaler and spoke about using a nebulizer she did not use in the past 30 years. Later, the teary-eyed singer disclosed that when her son mentioned he had chest pains and couldn’t breathe, she was scared about what she had to do next.
In the second video that Ellen shared, DeGeneres mentioned how PINK did a great thing by contributing a million dollars and half a million dollars to a hospital in Philadelphia. The singer shared that her mom worked in the hospital for eighteen years and hence she made her donation to help everyone these as they have fewer resources. PINK mentioned how the hospital has meant a lot to her mom and her friends and shared how everyone was playing music and dancing around.
