Former reptile dealer Jeffrey Lynn Johnson, popularly known as Jeff Johnson from 'Tiger Sky: Murder Mayhem and Madness' is no more. He was 58. The news of his death was confirmed by the Oklahoma City Police Department and its reported that he died due to suicide. The tragic news comes after the death of another 'Tiger King' star Erik Cowie. He passed away on September 3 at his apartment in New York City. And the medical examiner ruled alcohol abuse as the cause of his death.
As soon as the news of Jeff Johnson's death came out, his fans got emotional and offered condolences to his family on social media. It is a difficult time for the family. According to a report in meaww.com, Jeff, who had appeared in the fourth episode of the Netflix series, reportedly attempted to kill himself back in September, after an argument with his wife Charity.
The police report indicated that the officers were called to his place after 10p.m. on Sept 8 after he attempted to kill himself. His wife told the authorities that her husband killed himself in front of her during their argument in the garage. And shockingly, their children were present in the house during the time of the incident. He was quickly taken to the hospital by the cops. However, he was later pronounced dead. On November 17, the second season of 'Tiger King' was released on Netflix and it featured the original stars including Carole Baskin and Joe Exotic.
