Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez made for an adorable couple. However, their love had a tragic ending. They parted ways and their fans were left heartbroken. But it seems it was for the good of both. Selena in her recent interview has shared about her relationship with Justin and whether the time after the breakup was a difficult one. Selena has been on and off been into rehab as she dealt with anxiety and depression, post the split. Now, in her interview, she has spoken about suffering emotional abuse when with Justin.

In an interview with NPR, Selena was quoted saying, "It’s dangerous to stay in a victim mentality. And I’m not being disrespectful, I do feel I was a victim to certain abuse," when asked about the harder times post the spilt. When probed if it was the 'emotional abuse' she was talking about, she said, "Yes, and I think that it’s something that — I had to find a way to understand it as an adult. And I had to understand the choices I was making."


The 25-year-old Lose You To Love Me singer further said, "As much as I definitely don’t want to spend the rest of my life talking about this, I am really proud that I can say I feel the strongest I’ve ever felt and I’ve found a way to just walk through it with as much grace as possible."
