Actress Scarlett Johannson comes in support of her director buddy Woody Allen. The ace director was accused of child molestation a case filed by his daughter Dylan Farrow. But while she does so, the actress also clarifies that this move doesn’t justify her not supporting the women in the society. During her conversation with Vanity Fair, she also assured to keep working with him. The two have been friends for a long time now and share a good rapport and further added to continue to believe in him.
In conversation with Vanity Fair, she shared having close proximity with the filmmaker, meanwhile having no idea about his other relationships. Scarlett said, “I don’t know — I feel the way I feel about it. It’s my experience. I don’t know any more than any other person knows. I only have close proximity with Woody . . . he’s a friend of mine. In one of the reports by The Hollywood Reporter, she had mentioned her innocence and believing in him. “He maintains his innocence, and I believe him,” to this comment of Scarlett, Woody Allen’s daughter had replied in a tweet, “Scarlett has a long way to go in understanding the issue she claims to champion.”
Though the filmmaker has faced a lot of setback post the child molestation allegations and news making it to the headlines, he is still finding support in some of the top actors in the entertainment circuit.
Currently Scarlett is busy preparing for her wedding with Colin Jost.
