SAG Awards 2020: Joaquin Phoenix AKA Joker Pays Tribute To Heath Ledger In His Winning Speech – Video

Hollywood stars were shining bright at the prestigious Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, which took place yesterday at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The event was a star-studded affair that saw who’s who of Hollywood raising the glam quotient.  Right from Jennifer Lopez to Sophie Turner and Jennifer Aniston to Scarlett Johansson, glamorous actresses set the temperature soaring. 

Joaquin Phoenix was bestowed with Male Actor Awards in a Leading Role for Todd Phillips directorial Joker. But it was his award speech that made his fans emotional. The Joker actor paid an emotional tribute to the late actor Heath Ledger in his award acceptance speech. The actor kick-started the speech on a comical note, where he praised actors like Leonardo Di Caprio, Christian Bale and Adam Driver. He said his speech, “Today I'm standing here on the shoulders of my favourite actor Heath Ledger ...so thank you and goodnight". Now the emotional speech video of Phoenix has surfaced online and is being circulated by his fans on social media.
