COVID-19 Pandemic has pushed a pause button on everything since March 2020, thus getting us locked in our houses in order to curtail the further spread of the virus. Fortunately, now that people are recovering from it, many industries are reopening and functioning, one of them is the film business. As per the reports in Variety, The Batman starring Robert Pattinson in the key role will resume the shooting for the film from September 2020. As per their sources the makers will once again roll the camera and begin filming at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in the United Kingdom.
The comic book film began shooting just a few weeks ago the pandemic hit the world in March and got everything to a halt. Reports also state that the makers will take another 3 months to complete the film, aiming to wrap it up by the end of 2020 and then leading into post production. However, with the ongoing pandemic, the release date of the movie has also been revised. Earlier set to release in June 2021, the film will now hit the screens on Oct. 1, 2021 due to the delay in the shoot.
There were reports of the crew members constructing sets for the film shoot in the recent past.
The Batman is helmed by Matt Reeves and also stars Zoë Kravitz, Jeffrey Wright, Paul Dano, Peter Sarsgaard, John Turturro, Jayme Lawson, Colin Farrell and Andy Serkis.
