SmartLess podcast co-host Jason Bateman recently asked the 55-year-old actor if he is done playing Iron Man on-screen, to which Robert Downey Jr stated, "That’s all done. As far as I’m concerned, I hung up my guns and I’m good to let it go." He then went on to add, "I also think that Marvel is on this journey now. They’re trying a bunch of other stuff and you know, I’m excited for them to see how all that goes."
Well, this is not the first time that Robert Downey Jr has expressed that he is done playing Iron Man. In several interviews post Avengers: Endgame, he has asserted that he won't be returning to the MCU. It's sad, but it's his choice.
Meanwhile, Robert Downey Jr last posted about AGBO Superhero League and even paid his tribute to Chadwick Boseman who played Blank Panther in MCU films.
