Global diva Priyanka Chopra is just not limited to being a spectacular actor, she's also an inspiration for millions of people for all her philanthropic works. The Barfi actor, who is among one of the UN ambassadors, has always been vocal about all the current happenings in the world and makes it a point to spread awareness whenever required. As for her latest stint, PeeCee, among a streak of influential leaders and celebrities across the globe, has come on board as a guest speaker for the upcoming virtual summit on gender equality called Girl Up Leadership Summit.
Taking to her Twitter account, the actor shared this good news with fans by tweeting, "No matter their background, girls have the power to transform themselves, their communities, and the world around them. Join me for the virtual 2020 @GirlUp Leadership Summit, July 13-15 with some of the top female leaders! Get your tickets http://GirlUp.org/Summit #GirlsLead20." Interestingly, the panel of hosts for this summit also includes the likes of former First Lady Michelle Obama, Priyanka’s good friend and former Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle, 2018 Nobel Peace Prize winner Nadia Murad, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg and actor Jameela Jamil among others.
Priyanka and Meghan's friendship hasn't been hidden from the world. The Bajirao Mastani actor, in fact, had also graced the latter's royal wedding in the UK.
