Garry Marshall, the man who gave us some of the most popular romantic comedies, is no more. The 81-year-old passed away late Tuesday night in Burbank, California of complications arising from pneumonia. The director-actor’s most famous work was Julia Roberts starrer Pretty Woman – a film that propelled the actress to stardom.
Marshall is credited to have launched several immensely talented Hollywood actors. Apart from Roberts, Robin Williams was catapulted to fame with Marshall’s Mork And Mindy. Anne Hathaway tasted success with Marshall’s The Princess Diaries.
