It’s been months now since Pirates Of The Caribbean star Johnny Depp and ex-wife Amber Heard’s legal drama has been hitting headlines even after their divorce. Amidst that, Depp filed yet another defamation suit and now has got into another legal battle. According to an Associated Press report, Johnny Depp’s former romantic partners Vanessa Paradis and Winona Ryder have offered supportive statements in the actor’s favour. Talking about Depp, as per the court documents, Paradis said, “We’ve been partners for 14 years and we raised our two children together, ’’ and added, “Through all these years, I’ve known Johnny to be a kind, attentive, generous, and non-violent person and father.” She also mentioned that Johnny Depp was ‘never violent or abusive’. On the other hand, Vanessa who was in a relationship with the star in the 1990s shared how she cannot wrap her head around Heard’s accusations, according to the court documents. In support of Depp, she said, "He was never, never violent towards me. He was never, never abusive at all towards me.”

Meanwhile, as Johnny Depp’s exes Vanessa Paradis and Winona Ryder come out in support of the actor, ex-wife Amber Heard’s representative said, “in relation to Vanessa Paradis and Winona Ryder’s evidence, we are glad they did not have the same experience as Ms Heard," in an issued statement after the hearing. In the meantime, due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the further hearings have been on hold.


For the unversed, Johnny Depp filed a defamation suit against the British tabloid The Sun. Depp is suing the tabloid paper's publisher, News Group Newspapers, over an April 2018 article that referred to the Fantastic Beasts actor being a ‘wife-beater’. The article that was released consisted of allegations made by Depp’s ex-wife Amber Heard who filed for divorce after demanding for a domestic violence restraining order.
