The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences has announced the 395 artists and executives that have been invited to join this year. According to a report in Variety.com, the 2021 class is comprised of 46% women, 39% underrepresented ethnic/racial communities, and 53% international from 49 countries outside the United States. It is said that 89 are former Oscar nominees, including 25 winners of the total 395 invitees. Now, we have learned that a few popular faces from Bollywood will also become a part of The Academy’s Class of 2021.
Actress Vidya Balan, Producer Ekta Kapoor and her mother and co-producer Shobha Kapoor have been invited to be part of the Academy Award's Class of 2021. The official Twitter handle of The Academy has shared the new and complete list of invitees on its handle. Other big names among the newly invited include Andra Day, Maria Bakalova, Eiza González, Henry Golding, Vanessa Kirby, Robert Pattinson among others.
Other acting invitees include Carrie Coon (“The Nest”), Kingsley Ben-Adir (“One Night in Miami...”), Henry Golding (“Crazy Rich Asians), Clea DuVall (“Zodiac”), Hugh Bonneville (“Paddington 2″), Stephen Root (“Office Space”), Eiza González (“Baby Driver”) and Jonathan Majors (“Da 5 Bloods”).

In the directing category, new invitees include Janicza Bravo, Nia DaCosta, Cathy Yan, Darius Marder, Michael Almereyda, Lizzie Borden, Sean Durkin and Nina Menkes.
Needless to say, Vidya Balan, Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor have added another feather to their glowing hat.
