At the 93rd Academy Awards, the panel awarding actor Anthony Hopkins under the Best Actor category for his performance in The Father has left late actor Chadwick Boseman fans' upset. Bose had won Critics’ Choice award, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild award, thus making him favourite for the Oscars as well. However, Hopkins took home the Oscars trophy. The late actor’s fans are now taking to social media to express their disagreement, along with this fans were also spoke about the shuffling of the award announcement.
While Best Film is always announced as the end, this year Best Actor award was unveiled at the end. The late actor was nominated for his performance in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom; also seen attending the award show was the late actor’s family. One of the netizens Tweeted, “I never truly believed that the producers of the show didn’t know who was gonna win the awards before they were announced until now” While another one tweeted, “How come they will not know!! They are the producers they will always knew before the announcement!!”
This tweet came after many favoured the jury also being unaware of the fact. Yet another user Tweeted, “The Oscar that the Academy gave Sir Anthony Hopkins instead of Chadwick Boseman. #Oscars” Also other user reacting to the shuffling of the award announcement, called the Oscars being weird. Also one of the users tweeted, “They took a chance and changed the usual format of having the best movie as the last award. They lost.”

The Oscars was very weird tonight, especially the ending. They seemingly changed up the format leaving best actor until the end to give it to Chadwick Boseman. But then instead they gave it to Anthony Hopkins, who wasn't even there. The ending was completely chaotic and unhinged.
