Adam Sandler has been winning hearts with his performances for years now, and the actor does not miss a chance to impress. Sandler has garnered his fame with his stellar performances in films and is loved by all literally. As the much-awaited Oscars 2020 nominations got released by the Academy, today the Uncut Gems star Adam Sandler took to his social media to take a dig at the royal Oscars Snub after his film Uncut Gems got dropped out of the race.

Adam Sandler tweeted, “Bad news: Sandman gets no love from the Academy. Good news: Sandman can stop wearing suits. Congrats to all my friends who got nominated, especially Mama.” Sharing a picture of Oscar nominee actress Kathy Bates, Adam quite subtly took a dig at the Oscar nominations revealed yesterday. In his tweet, Sandler mentioned how it’s ‘Bad News’ that his film Uncut Gems got no love from the Academy. Adding on, the Uncut Gems actor also shared that there’s Good News that he will not have to end up dressed in suits for the Oscars, leading to his undying love for shorts and tee. Congratulating all those nominated for the Oscars 2020, Sandler wished all his friends. In his tweet, the Murder Mystery star also wished actress Kathy Bates by sharing a jovial picture of the actress. In the Oscars nominations announced yesterday, actress Kathy Bates bagged a nomination in the ‘Best Actress in a Supporting Role’ category for the film Richard Jewell.


Needless to say, Adam Sandler is hurt with the Oscars nominations announced and mainly for Uncut Gems not making it to the top. Recently, Serena Williams also took a jibe at the Oscars for not having either Jennifer Lopez or Beyonce in the list of nominees. The 92 Academy awards will be held on February 10, 2020.
