Tom Cruise has always stunned the world with his death-defying stunts. The 59-year-old actor continues to do so, as he recently pulled off yet another soul-stirring stunt wherein he hung upside down from a World War II plane for the latest instalment of ‘Mission Impossible’.

Cruise has once again proved himself as the daredevil and there is no stunt he can’t tackle.

The Mission: Impossible star was spotted practicing for a film stunt on Saturday, and several pictures featured him climbing onto the wing of a small airplane.

If that didn’t give you goosebumps; the pictures also showed the plane flipping over and Cruise hanging upside down as it does a ‘loop-the-loop’ in the air.

Meanwhile, other photos gave a glimpse of how all the action unfolds, as he was spotted on the ground in a jumpsuit and helmet.

Surrounded by the production crew, the actor was placed in a harness, which was secured to the wing of the Boeing Stearman biplane with a series of metal rods.

According to Page Six, the plane used for the stunt is a 1941 Boeing B75N1 Stearman biplane which took off from Duxford airfield and performed the stunt at 2,000 feet.

Its no surprise for the fans that Tom Cruise is personally performing his own stunt work, as he has done so on past productions, including Mission: Impossible 7, which is scheduled to be released in 2022 and stars his rumored now ex-girlfriend Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson and Vanessa Kirby.

The eighth instalment of the Mission Impossible franchise, scheduled for a July 22, 2023 release.
