NEW James Bond: Star Wars Fame John Boyega Willing To Take Forward Daniel Craig's Legacy As James Bond

James Bond is one of the most iconic characters we have ever witnessed. For ages, the fictitious character has entertained the audiences. But now, it is time for Daniel Craig to bid adieu to James Bond. His tenure as 007 will come to an end with Cary Joji Fukunaga No Time to Die. Due to the pandemic, the release of the film has been pushed by a year, however, fans of James Bond are already raking their brains over the next 007. Among many, the name of Star Wars fame John Boyega has also been recommended by fans. Now, John has reacted to it.

The actor was quoted saying, "Ooh! Hey listen, Steve McQueen directing, let’s do this! We could show them something different. We still bring that sophistication. You know, James Bond has to be James Bond. But we could do something with that," by MTV News. Apart from him, names of stars such as Tom Hardy, James Norton, Idris Elba and Richard Madden have also been recommended by the fans to be the next James Bond.

It was recently that Sean Connery, the original James Bond, passed away at the age of 90. Daniel Craig in one of his old interviews with Bombay Times had spoken about Sean Connery and said, "I like Sean Connery the most as Bond. It’s interesting because when Sean was cast he wasn’t everybody’s favourite – he’s Scottish and people were talking about David Niven and other quintessentially British actors. Cubby Broccoli was American and Harry Saltzman was Canadian but they lived in this country a long time and they were Anglophiles and both kind of British in their ways."
