Tom Cruise can easily wow his fans with his high-octane action stunts. The actor’s casting for the Mission Impossible franchise opened Pandora’s box of new-age spy films which were heavy on mind-bending stunts and they were mostly performed by Tom himself. Now, the actor is all set to bring back yet another instalment of the popular franchise, Mission Impossible.
Tom Cruise has significantly raised the bar for himself after Mission: Impossible – Fallout (2018) and it seems like all the production hassles that the team had to suffer while making Dead Reckoning might be worth it.
The new trailer teases some of the gut-wrenching stunts, in all likelihood performed by Tom himself, nothing’s really that impossible for Ethan and his team.
As per the film’s synopsis, the latest instalment is known to be the “most dangerous mission” that the IMF has taken on as they track down a new weapon that could destroy all humanity if it falls into the wrong hands.
It seems like Ethan might have to make some difficult choices here as the fate of his team seems to be in jeopardy as well.
The film went on floors in 2020, just before the pandemic hit, and the shoot was later suspended due to Covid-19. The filming resumed in the latter part of 2020 in the UK. While the filming was wrapped in 2021, the release was reportedly delayed multiple times due to the pandemic. The movie will now release on July 12.
