During an interview called The Debbie Rowe Interview: The Missing Tapes that re-emerged after Michael Jackson’s death in 2009, the singer’s ex-wife called all the child molestation accusations ‘bulls**t’ and shared that she did not find her ex-husband sharing the bed with young boys ‘inappropriate’. When questioned how she felt about Jackson spending so much private time with young boys, Rowe said, “Yeah boys hang out with other boys... I'm not his mother. I didn't see anything inappropriate about it at all.” She added, “How would people view it if it was me? Or you? Would they say it's inappropriate?”
Moving on, defending Michael Jackson, Debbie Rowe said, “I'm confused as to where people have come up with the decision, the blanket statement that it's inappropriate. It's because they have preconceived ideas that are absolutely incorrect. Period." Later, when asked if she was fine with Jackson spending time along with their kids, the ex-wife said, “He's their father and he's not a paedophile.” She further shared that Jackson would not do anything to hurt a child and mentioned she is tired of hearing it. Rowe also revealed she decided to talk on the topic because one cannot take lies for too long and mentioned she reached her limit. She added, “And that's why I'm doing this. I'm tired of the lies. I'm tired of the bulls**t."
