Kim Kardashian has slammed a legal lawsuit against Charles Runels and Cellular Medicine Association for the usage of her name and photos without her permission to promote their skincare procedure. The model and actress way back in 2013 in one of the episodes of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians, had done a beauty enhancing facial called Vampire facial. She later also expressed her regret on it and swore of never doing it again as it was painful and harsh on her skin.
The diva realized the misuse of her popularity this summer and then went on to slam a company with a lawsuit. As per reports in Eonline.com, Kim has filed a complaint in California Federal court against Charles Runels for the usage of her name, and her face to promote his business. The lawsuit filed by Kim includes violation of the right of publicity, false association, copyright infringement. This lawsuit also mentioned about Kim and Kourtney
As per reports published in E!online, it also stated, “When Ms. Kardashian reached out to Runels and his trademark attorney to demand that he cease using her name and likeness without her consent, he not only refused to take down the pictures of her and references to her; he had the temerity to demand that she pay him.”
