American comedian, actor and civil servant, Kal Penn is quite a known face not just down West, but also in India. He is known for briefly playing the role of Kevin on How I Met Your Mother, Lawrence Kutner on House, and Kumar Patel in the Harold and Kumar film series. He also starred in the film The Namesake, which also starred Tabu and Irrfan Khan. Looks like Kal Penn keeps up with all the desi trends and he just cracked a Bigg Boss joke on Nikki Haley’s views on US-Iran.
After Iranian military commander Qassem Soleimani was assassinated by the United States force in Baghdad, there has been tension mounting in the Middle East. In the midst of it, Nikki Haley, an Indian American, and the Former Governor of South Carolina shared a clip stating her thoughts on what the death of Soleimani means for Iran. In the video, she says, “You could see Ayatollah (Iran's supreme leader) crying because that was his number one strategist, who has literally told all of the proxies in all the countries who to kill, when to kill and how to kill. And that guy is now gone." At the end of her speech, she says, “Now what?”

It's not a compliment, Nimrata!

Pretty sure that's not a compliment, Comrade Nikki.

Kal Penn replied to the tweet and with, “Pooja what is this behaviour?"He hit her with a Pooja Mishra reference, which was clearly lost on Nikki, and she replied to his Tweet with, “That is hysterical. Proud of the work you do." Twitterati reminded her that it wasn’t a compliment, but she was being trolled instead. For those, unaware, Pooja Mishra is a contestant from Bigg Boss 5 and a viral video of hers from her stint in BB was captioned "Pooja what is this behaviour?".
