Currently, the COVID-19 pandemic has taken several lives across the world and many have lost family and loved ones. With the Coronavirus outbreak affecting countries drastically, Canadian A-list celebrities like Justin Bieber, Michael Buble, Drake, Ryan Reynolds, Celine Dion, Bryan Adams, and others joined hands for a 90-minute charity show to help raise funds to feed more and more people during the crisis situation. On Sunday, celebrities Justin Bieber, Michael Buble, Drake, Ryan Reynolds, Celine Dion, Bryan Adams, and others came together for a 90-minute show to raise money for the COVID-19 relief funds that were organized by Food Banks Canada to help feed more people and support frontline workers fighting the battle against the deadly virus. The Stronger Together- Tour Ensemble was aired across many Canadian networks and aimed to raise Rs 8,14,79,68,500 for Food Banks Canada.
The show also saw celebrities Avril Lavigne, and Barenaked Ladies, with the audience been treated with a special appearance from Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The Canadian PM marked his appearance towards the end of the 90-minutes long show. The show was then closed by rapper Drake who thanked all the people who have been at the frontlines of the crisis. As per a report in Hindustan Times, addressing the people of Canada, Drake mentioned how it is incredible to see people leave their families every day and go to work amidst the crisis.
